A Japanese corporation of Glaxo SmithKline (GSK) of the Britain medicine manufacture major company (Tokyo) announced that they manufactured by GSK on the fourth, and discontinued, and recalled the production of artificial tooth stabilizer "New [porigurippu] EX" that the earth medicine manufacture sold voluntarily. To improve cohesiveness, this product contains zinc. To become the excess ingestion of zinc according to the use of the product, and might cause anemia and hands and feet's side effects of numbness etc.
Several hundred thousand 200 totals are shipped by the sale in September, 2007. It is said that 131,500 circulates now. There was three total like the numbness of the hand by the product usage etc. inquiry from the customer so far. The manufacturing discontinuance was decided as "Preventive measures" though the uncertainty of the GSK side was a causal relation. However, it is said it is unquestionable for the safety of other product that doesn't contain zinc.
